The GA-700UC from G-Shock takes timekeeping performance to the next level. Featuring a flexible resin band, digital face display, and buckle closure, this shock-resistant timepiece is water resistant up to 200 meters, suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not diving.
Boasting an array of advanced features, the watch sports an analog and digital display. The analog component comprises two hands (hour and minute) that move every 20 seconds, along with a dial for mode, stopwatch seconds, and countdown timer seconds. The digital display presents hour, minute, second, PM, month, date, and day.
Equipped with a 1/100-second stopwatch, the GA-700UC can measure elapsed time, split time, and 1st and 2nd place times. The countdown timer, with a unit of measure in 1/10 second and a range of 60 minutes, allows users to set the start time from 1 to 60 minutes.
Other notable functions include 5 daily alarms with 1 snooze alarm, an hourly time signal, and a hand shift feature that moves the hands out of the way to provide an unobstructed view of the digital display contents. The auto-calendar is pre-programmed until the year 2099, and the 12/24 hour formats are accurate to within +/- 15 seconds per month.
Crafted with a resin material from Thailand, the GA-700UC boasts a super matte finish and shock-resistant design. The watch is equipped with an LED light (Super Illuminator) and offers world time in 31 zones (48 cities + coordinated universal time), as well as daylight savings on/off functionality.
Powered by a Quartz Movement and a CR2016 battery, the timepiece has an approximate battery life of 5 years. Its case diameter measures 52.8mm, and the operation tone can be toggled on or off.
